I learned the bulk of my growing social media expertise through independent research and a course dedicated to the study at BU.
I am currently the Social Media Coordinator at The Ictus Initiative in Boston. I founded the company's social media practice earlier this year. Now, I manage the social media initiatives on multiple accounts, working to enhance clients’ web presence and blog traffic. I monitor blogs pertaining to my clients’ specialties, use social networking sites to increase their personal contacts and coach them on creating quality blog content.
I am also working to enhance my own web presence. I am active on multiple social networking sites and I maintain two blogs. As a young professional, I have an inherent sense for the Internet, and I enjoy strategizing my own web persona.
